ABL ANNOUNCES CARIBBEAN MARKETING PARTNERSHIP
ABL signs marketing deal with Caribbean's premiere marketing firm, Capital City Marketing in Nassau, Bahamas

ABL CEO Steve Haney has announced that Capital City Marketing, a Nassau based full service Marketing & Event Management Agency, has entered into a contract to partner with the American Basketball League.
The partnership between the ABL and the Caribbean’s premiere marketing firm has been executed for the purpose of exploring International expansion to the Caribbean, which includes potential network television broadcasting. The vision of bringing pro basketball to the Caribbean is not farfetched added Haney “We are deep in to negotiations with Caribbean basketball federations, as well as a major broadcasting partner to broadcast professional basketball to over 28 Island nations, as well as select US markets. This is historic on many levels”.
The extent of negotiations has not been disclosed, but Haney indicated matters are being finalized and soon to be announced, with a press conference planned later this month in Nassau. The conceptual and logistic efforts of the ABL have been spearheaded by ABL Commissioner Eric Newsome, a former resident and member of the Bahamian business community. “This has a real chance” stated Newsome “With the popularity of the sport, as well as the relationships we have established, history is in the making”

The American Basketball League is a professional basketball league that will be playing a late Spring/Summer 18 game schedule, which is opportune for providing a forum for players to maximize their exposure, as they aspire to play professionally oversees, as well in the United States. The 2014 ABL season is scheduled to commence June 1st, 2014.
